Stylish Boatshed with Sea Views Private Parking

The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The terrace area is nice with a sea view. The bed is comfy. We really did enjoy our stay here.

The property is in a lovely little village but there really isn’t much around. When we stayed we used the little cafe by the beach once as it shuts at 5pm. The fish and chip shop is closed Mon/tues which were the two main days we were there. There is a really lovely pub in Gorran Churchtown called The Barley Sheaf which I would highly recommend but be prepared for a steep walk or just drive. We did explore and these were the only places that were close by. Please make sure you stop at a supermarket on the way to this property and ensure you have a few days worth of food/drink with you just to be on the safe side. Be aware that there are a few really narrow country lanes on the way to this property. Not for the faint hearted but fun all the same. Just a couple of things about the property, the light from the microwave clock is pretty bright. Someone else has previously mentioned this and it is true. We took a plaster and just put it over the clock when we went to sleep. There are way too many plates, glasses etc for 2 people. I would suggest getting rid of a few to make a bit more space. A drainer for washing up would be good as water just goes everywhere although I understand it may be difficult to fit this on the worktop. There is a utility room with a washing machine/Dryer but this is shared with the cottage next door. Every time I tried to use it, it was already in use. This isn’t a deal breaker but as it was towards the end of our holiday it would’ve been good to clean some clothes.

The current room layout/configuration could be a little tricky to move around; a little more attention to the cleanliness, tidiness and preparedness of the property would enhance the experience substantively.

Everything. Perfect for two. Fabulous view. Quiet location. Excellent facilities.
