The Hideaway at Gooseberry Hill

Room was comfy, self catering supplies were excellent with plenty of soaps, cleaning products and crockery and cutlery available as well as tea and coffee making facilities and towels.

Property maintenance was somewhat lacking with the bathroom fan out of service, outside light not working, soap dispensers malfunctioning and a light fitting falling out of the ceiling.

The hotel was cosy and lovely in a laid back beautiful part af Perth.

The undertaker (looking after several smaller hotes) had a homepage called Safeguest, where I should upload a picture of my passport and pay a deposit, however, the app did not cope with my Danish set-up Galaxy phone. And I could not get the info about keys without. I spent an whole day trying all different ways including reinstalling my phone, changing language , my computer, my girlfriends phone A.I etc. It was very nerve breaking as it was in connection to Thanks Giving (where most hotels were sold out or very over-prized). The next day I finally was allowed to use another form, but was unhappy about the nerve-pressure and spending a day of my holliday in a motel trying to please a computer I would reccomend that your abandon this app, and let the deposit be charge up front. As it turned out I did not pay a deposit, not that I would have mind, but after all in my six week holliday a deposit was only necessary twice.

The location was good. It was quiet. It has a well equipped bathroom and kitchen.

The apartment lacks natural airflow with only a front door to let air through. It has a lack of natural light due to the absence of more windows. The mattress was way too soft for our liking.

There is this beautiful garden and you can go in it only small area not what was described in property description. No out side lights
