Charming House in Woolwich

Location was beautiful, nice high ceilings so felt very spacious

Location was great.

I did not like the fact I had to pay a separate security deposit through another system despite having fully paid for the property on booking.com (first time in my booking experience that's ever been required). I think this to relates to their desire to be able to charge additional cleaning charges. The pedantic long list of "extra cleaning charges" of which there were at least half a dozen, like $50 to carry a bin out (don't know who their cleaning contractor is but if they're paying $50 for someone to take a bin outside they need to review). Really ruined the atmosphere of staying in the place being threatened on multiple occasions with extra charges and being thrown out if we make noise. The kitchen was under resourced. We were planning to cook a meal, but ended up just buying some pre-heat pizza because of inadequate supplies in the kitchen (and the threat that if the washing up wasn't done to their liking they'd charge us $100 - see question about who they're paying to do their cleaning). Even then we spend 20 minutes googling the instructions for the oven to get it going (it was by no means obvious) - a simple how to left in the kitchen would have been helpful.
