Safe and secure. The people and staff are really helpful. Coffee is available readily in the home stay itself.
The doors squeaking very badly including the bathroom door.
Would have liked it if there was regular cleaning and change of towels.

An old colonial style home, the king size room was large with beautiful windows with lots of natural light and leafy outlook. Comfy bed and a couch and good aircon. Nice pool and cafe downstairs.
Access is down a lane way so can be a bit tricky to find at night but there are good instructions, but phone number needs to be updated. The lane way is undergoing some construction at the moment so it’s very messy but not noisy and should be finished soon. Need more sun lounges.

The staff was lovely and the decor is tasteful throughout. Their cafe does fantastic coffees. The outdoor garden/ pool space is very beautiful and being able to use the laundry machine with complimentary detergent was super handy.
It was quite disruptive that there were constantly people doing photo shoots at the pool, quite often expecting others to make way. Although amenities on booking said "bar" it really is just a coffee place (although excellent). The room had a bunch of small issues that made it less comfortable; a broken bedside lamp, missing bedside table, not enough space to hang towels to dry. Simple fixes that would greatly improve comfort!

The room was beautifully presented and very clean. The cafe and pool area were very aesthetically pleasing and the drinks which were served were great quality
This place isn’t set up to be a guesthouse. The rooms don’t get cleaned, the only staff available are the ones who work at the cafe who were so busy (not their fault at all!) and additional services like cleaning etc. you need to sort out yourself

"The rooms and hotel are beautiful and quaint, great pool with deck chairs, lots of amenities in the bedrooms and the staff have gone the extra mile to the smallest detail. Would definitely stay again!"
