Casa Foscolo Hotel, Istanbul, a Member of Design Hotels

Location is superb, look no further! Easily access to restaurants, cafes, shops, and tram that runs along Taksim! Room was spacious and we truly had a wonder stay! If in Istanbul, here is the best place to stay.

Great hotel, the 2 bedroom suite was very large. The area is amazing and close to everything. The only drawback was that the main strip of bars is a few doors down, so you will hear accessible noise until 230AM+ especially on the weekends.

Probably the best location. Near the train and shopping street Istiklal. Absolutely gorgeous room for us, we had the suite. Bed & pillow is comfortable! The staff is helpful and pleasant. The local restaurant opposite is awesome too! We have nothing bad to say. Love everything about the hotel!

Hotel location and suite room size is good. However, we were not amazed by the service and lack of facilities. The staff were generally polite and friendly but they were not particularly helpful. We made several enquiries but their response was basically “ we don’t know” or “no”. We are also unimpressed with the standard of housekeeping; the used cutlery and glasses were taken away everyday but were not replaced. We also noticed some of the cutlery and glasses have stains. Overall, we appreciate Enes’s kind and friendly service but unfortunately thats about it, the rest were underwhelming. Also we advise against engaging taxi services that the hotel suggest as we end up getting scammed by this particular taxi at the end. The hotel staff was the one who helped us make the taxi booking, but it ended up taking us to the wrong location which is an expensive and frustrating experience! In hindsight, we wish we had just booked an Uber.
