Charming 1-bedroom apartment in near Duke University and Downtown Durham

Small little one bedroom “apartment” but big enough for my husband and I with our toddler. We wanted a little bit more roaming room for her instead of a standard hotel room. It was super clean too which was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

This space was perfect for our stay. Clean, close to stores and highway and Johana was very attentive to our needs. We will definitely be returning!

Overall we had a good nice stay. We all got sleep and got a shower, which was the goal. The problem comes in this, and part of it may fall on me, but we reserved a room for 3 people and there was only space for 2 people--the main bed is a full so even on my honeymoon I'm not sure if I'd want to share something that small with someone; the other bed was a futon. And there were only 2 pillows. I ended up running to Target to get an air mattress and another pillow. Second, the host was pretty slow to respond when I asked questions about the property before booking--like over 24 hours to get a response and a second message from me. I'm not looking for immediate response but within a few hours would be nice. Like I said, the place was very clean, the shower was wonderful, but the bed is a full and would only sleep 2 children so just beware when you book.

I was staying a couple nights in town for work and this place was almost perfect for it. Location is great and on a quiet street.
