It was rustic and full of character. The style is cosy and charming. The location is amazing and the husky is soooo cute. The hosts are friendly, like family. The shared kitchen allowed me to say hello and make conversation, getting to know more about the area.
The building is a little old but feels very on par for NYC/Manhattan and this part of town. The price reflects this. I would not expect to pay this price and stay in a five star hotel. That said, it is very good VALUE for money. It is budget and the stay reflects that.

The location was fantastic. Right in the heart of the East Village. Easy access to transportation and the sites I wanted to see. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
It was a very old building, classic NYC. The owners run some New Age courses in their living room. The entrance information was somewhat unclear, but the owners were accessible on the phone.
