The perfect stay!

If you are coming to Mexico City this place is a perfect spot to stay! We did two nights here and it was fantastic! The location is spot on and the property itself is beautifully designed. Communication throughout was great - we would come back and stay in a heartbeat if we could!

Great location and spacious accommodations

It was fantastic having a person there to meet us when we arrived. At first I was weary of doing another 'apartment' arrangement due to the lack of human interactions those generally come with, but this was the exception! The employee that met us was very friendly, competent, made sure we knew how to get into our room and gave us great recommendations.

Small suggestion - I would add more mirrors (or at least one more opposite the bed - there's a perfect spot for it). It was sometimes hard for me to get ready using the over the sink mirror while my boyfriend also used the sink.

Excellent location. Highly walkable and the junior suite we inhabited was very clean/modern with plenty of storage.

The a/c unit is lacking for how warm it can get here. We visited in February (during an uncharacteristically warm week (85 Fahrenheit) and found the air conditioning struggled to cool the room. We often went to bed quite warm and for some this can be a struggle.

I’d stay there again, but only a higher floor.

I would have loved this place except my first floor room was super noisy late at night due to the bar right below me. When I booked the hotel 4 months prior to my stay, I emphasized the importance of a quiet room. My friends staying one florist above me heard it, but less loudly. Juliana moved me to a different room on the 1st floor, and it was a lot better. Jorge was no help at all. The housekeeping staff was lovely and took wonderful care of me. I’d stay there again, but only on a much higher floor not on the bar side of the hotel.

Stunning boutique hotel within walking distance to everything in Condesa

Amazing and beautifully designed hotel. There was some loud music playing during my first night, but the rest of my stay was quiet and peaceful. Stellar location with walking distance to all the cool shops and bars in Condesa.

There was a strong chemical smell from the bed sheets. Although it's a sign that they had been washed, it did interfere with my sleep and didn't feel healthy.

This is not a hotel and while it has a prime location, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The place is in a prime location. This is not a hotel as I believed.

No place for my driver to park in the afternoon. Nobody to help with your luggage. And the room I got had the weirdest most inconvenient layout and the tiniest bathroom which had a leak. The bed was comfortable and I was surprised that even though there was a bar downstairs, I didn’t hear anything at night.

What a beautiful property in an interesting, vibrant location in CDMX! The coordination with the hosts couldn’t have been better - very easy for our arrival and departure. We loved the neighborhood restaurants and shops.

Very well designed & furnished apartment in a great location!

The apartment was large and kitted out with everything you could need. The design and linen felt very luxurious. The location was ideal, close to bars and restaurants. The building felt very safe. The staff were amazing - when I complained about the noise from the street on the Saturday night, they brought a mobile fan the next day which really helped.

The only thing is on the Saturday night there was a fair amount of noise from the street - if you are a very sensitive sleeper, it's something to consider.

Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location

Location was great - walking distance to everything. Room was beautiful and certainly a 'mood'! Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Soaps and lotions provided were good quality.

There is a bar downstairs that can be noisy at night. Also, while the furniture is beautiful to look at, the couch and chairs were hard and uncomfortable when sitting in them.

Overpriced and disappointing.

The location is great and the staff were friendly and responsive.

There’s no reception so it’s not really a hotel. They were responsive via WhatsApp to their credit. The rooms are poorly designed - tiny shower, too small for a grown man, curtains too short so they don’t block the light out and very weak AC (if it can’t cool in November, god help someone staying here in summer). It’s also extremely dark inside, it’s all painted black with insufficient lights. Also no plug socket next to one side of the bed. Bed also a bit small/hard for what I would expect at this price level.

The name is misleading, it’s not a hotel but rather a serviced apartment (no reception, no other facilities outside the room). Also, our room was right above the downstairs bar, with no soundproofing whatsoever, which was blasting music until 2am.

Weekend getaway

El Alfonsa beautifully combines modern design with traditional Mexican touches. The rooms are spacious, bright, and full of natural light thanks to the large windows. The hotel’s location is excellent — right in Condesa’s lively neighborhood and within easy walking distance to Roma. The customer service was outstanding, and our host was attentive and present throughout our stay. A perfect balance of comfort, style, and hospitality.

Small bathroom which is impossible not to flood when taking a shower. The lights in 2 of the 3 closets in the bedroom were impossible to turn off due to the sensors not working properly which was annoying at night but we managed to find a solution to block the light. While there is a a nice living room, the space around the bed in the bedroom is very tight.

Very poor and we feel like we were taken advantage of. Something I’ve never said in Mexico City.

We were charged $200 for a sheet replacement as it was ripped (questionable whether it was us). We paid for the sheet only for it not to be replaced the following day. The sheet had been switched round so the rip was on the different side of the bed - sneaky. Moreover this makes us question the validity of the charge for a sheet. In addition the noise from the bars below until 3:00am is awful. The vibrations alone from music before you get to the noise from people.

Stylish, comfortable and perfectly located.

El Alfonsa was a fantastic place to stay for 2 weeks in one of the nicest parts of CDMX. The property is incredibly stylish, comfortable, and really elevated our visit to the city. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind, helpful and always there if you needed them.

The kitchenette was a little short of a few items that are useful for a long stay, but our host was very quick to sort it out for us once we asked about it.

The pulsing made-oriented bar music downstairs was not ideal, but didn’t go super late. Crank up your noisemaker. Someone above us - 4th floor, I’m guessing - was thumping around through the night a couple of nights. Very loud and annoying.

Perfect stay if you are looking to stay in condesa!

Great stay. The rooms were so clean and just how they were pictured. Our host Lorenza was so helpful and kind. I really appreciate the attention to detail at this hotel. And the hallways smell exceptional!! The location is perfect. You can grab food almost anywhere, walk to some beautiful shops or grab an uber for an affordable rate to go to tourist attractions.

Luxurious stay for an incredible value in the best location-

I've lived in CDMX 4 years. This was my final location on my way back to the US. The hotel/apartments location is above some of the best dining/fun spots in the city but was completely quiet inside. High quality details from bedding to water pressure and lighting. Wifi was extremely fast. Great staff and simple process. I'll be staying here on all future trips to CDMX

A must stay in Condesa

For my first visit to Mexico city. This was a fantastic stay. Very safe and secure part of condesa. The room was an amazing size and beautiful decor. Would absolutely stay here again. Great communication from host.

My arranged transfer driver by accommodation almost took me 1.5 hr away to wrong location from airport and didnt speak same language. All was okay in end

Great Price and Space

I thought our room was very spacious and in a convenient location with many restaurants and bars around. Had a very smooth check-in and the staff was very accommodating and responsive. My friend and I especially loved the doorman who was there at night as he was very friendly and made sure our stay was safe.

The only thing I wished for was a full length mirror to do outfit checks and to help us get ready faster in the mornings as two women.

Great location. Above a loud bar/restaurant but the windows are pretty good. Not totally quiet but more so than I thought it would be.

I got WhatsApp greeting right after booking and was asked when I expected to check in. I shared and thought we were all set. There was no mention that you have to fill out a form online, send your passport and receive a door code. We gave our ETA for arrival and had to wait outside for someone to show up and let us in. There is nothing indicating the building is a “hotel” and no reception.
