P1MAL1091 - Fantastic 3bed steps away from Sagrada

Top Lage: viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (von Aldi bis Mercadona), viele Bars und Restaurants und die Sagrada Familia samt Metro Station nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Wohnung mit super Aufteilung.

Communication was easy, and the location was excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the metro and Sagrada Família, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The area felt safe and quiet for a family with children. Both the building and the apartment had access codes, and we were also given physical keys. We really appreciated having keys as a backup in case of power outages during bad weather. The apartment was bright and airy, with spacious rooms and comfortable mattresses. The kitchen had everything we needed as a family, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Overall, it is a great place, but a few improvements could make it even better. These were the things that bothered us: 1. There was no safe in the apartment, which was surprising. 2. Our contact person went on holiday during our stay, leaving Booking.com as our only communication channel. We did not need emergency assistance, but we always prefer to have someone directly available in case something goes wrong. 3. Additional payments included a €300 refundable security deposit, city tax, and a weekend arrival fee, which was €100 in our case. Our deposit was refunded within a week, but the weekend arrival fee increases the price shown on Booking.com. Make sure to factor these costs into your budget, particularly if you are arriving on a weekend. 4. The bathroom lacked shelves and hooks, and there was nowhere inside the shower to put toiletries. These may seem like small details, but they make a real difference to everyday comfort, especially when travelling with children. 5. We did not need air conditioning in every room in October, but bear in mind that only the living room has air conditioning, while the bedrooms have fans. I’m not sure this would be enough for such a large apartment in July or August.

Host met us and showed us the apartment and explained everything we needed to know. Really spacious and clean apartment with good kitchen facilities

There were a lot of people checking in at the same time so we had to wait quite a while in the lobby before we could check in

2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen is amazing. The location is also great! Our host greeted us and we were able to check in early too!

The walls were a bit thin and we were able to hear eachother snore lol. There were no parking place nearby
