Blue Horizon

The location was great, a few minutes easy walk to both Port Isaac and Port Gaverne with fantastic sea views. Comfortable beds and bright airy rooms. Large open plan living area with an enclosed balcony overlooking the sea, we particularly liked the folding doors to open it up when warm. Two of the bedrooms with sea views also. 4 lovely bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen. Was nice to have soap and loo rolls in all the bathrooms and washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs was helpful and generous. Parking space was great. We had a very comfortable stay.

More attention to detail in the kitchen on changeover, the dishwasher was not clean, remnants of food in the bottom and in the filter which I cleaned, fan above the hob was very dusty/greasy. Fridge had large amount of ice on the back which I removed and the bin lid needed a clean. The garden patio area was a little soulless, there was just a large wooden table and chairs, no 'relaxing' chairs and a few small planters, looked uncared for because of the weeds. Also next door's garden was very pretty so it did look poorer for that unfortunately. Whilst there was ample place to put clothes in drawers and on low rails, there was no hanging space for long skirts or dresses in the master bedroom, maybe some hooks on the wall/back of door? Notwithstanding these small points it's a lovely house in a great spot, a beautiful area.

The position. The parking space for myself and family. Everything was as described. All the necessary equipment in the kitchen and a glorious view!.

The beds were a bit hard.
