I really enjoyed our stay here. The owners and manager were very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The property is clean, cozy, and peaceful, even though it’s located in a busy and highly touristic area. I especially appreciated how safe and comfortable it felt as a solo female traveler. It’s also a lovely choice for couples looking for a relaxing and cozy stay. Everything felt well looked after, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming.

This hotel completely exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything. The room was nice, stylish, and comfortable! Hope ill return next season!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Banana in Weligama. The property has beautiful sea views, such a calm atmosphere, and was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s run by the lovely Italian-Spanish couple, Ludo and Monica, who were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Taniya, the property manager, was super helpful with everything - from local recommendations and scooter rentals to coordinating with our local driver, which made things very convenient for us. The property is currently undergoing renovations, so there was a little construction work happening during our stay, but honestly, even during renovations the place already felt special. We’re sure it’s going to be absolutely stunning once completed. A special mention to Kothu and Roti, the adorable puppies, and Rocco the cat - I spent most of my time playing with them around the property! Overall, a really lovely stay and we’d definitely come back once the renovations are done.

A flawless stay—truly deserving of 5 stars, if not more. The staff were outstanding: genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready with thoughtful local recommendations that made a real difference to our experience. The location is ideal, just an easy 8-minute walk to Jungle Beach, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything—from the rooms to the shared spaces—was impeccably clean and well cared for. Without a doubt, the best stay I had in Sri Lanka.
