Kenvarra Jan Juc Coastal Haven

Lovely and spacious. Comfy beds and plenty of bath towels, soap, shampoo etc. Also lots of kitchen supplies and useful things like spices, oil, salt, coffee tea. We had a wonderful family Christmas at the house.

Not enough tea towels (only 2). All the house was overall very clean in the bathrooms and kitchen it was very dusty with cobwebs in the cupboards, wardrobes and behind the beds. Lots of resident cellar spiders in corners and behind furniture. The main front door and downstairs sliding door are both stiff and difficult to unlock. The bbq is completely full of rust and needs a really good scrubbing to be able to use which we didn’t have time to do. There are no instructions for any of the appliances. We were unable to get the air con to blow cold air. The fridge leaks water from the front. We used a towel the whole time in front of it. We couldn’t find where the water was coming from.

The home was very nice with plenty of room for 5 adults and 4 children.

The yard was in very poor standard for children to play and didn’t look like the pictures. Given the price of the stay I think the lawn should have been maintained for kids to play. The bins were over flowing on arrival making it hard to manage rubbish during our stay. This was mentioned to the staff and we were told it was going to be rectified but it wasn’t. The BBQ was fully rusted over on arrival. We’re had to purchase tools to clean it properly before we could use it which was disappointing as the rules were that the BBQ had to be clean after the stay.
