Some hotel stays are pleasant. A rare few are unforgettable. And then there are experiences like ours, shaped entirely by the hearts, dedication, and generosity of two remarkable people, Mr. Sohadev and Swostika.
We booked our night without any special expectations. We saw options for honeymoon arrangements and an airport shuttle but decided not to add them. To our astonishment, these two didn’t just welcome us, they truly embraced us as guests. They surprised us with a beautifully prepared honeymoon setup, upgraded us to a suite, and filled every moment with warmth and care that felt deeply personal.
Their hospitality was not about routine service, it was about genuine human kindness. When we happened to ask online about an airport drop-off, they personally made it happen, turning a simple question into a thoughtful gesture. When we expected nothing more than a quiet night’s rest, they added little touches, including breakfast, that made us feel like we were the most important guests they had ever hosted. Every action felt sincere, as if they were welcoming old friends rather than meeting us for the first time.
We are a simple couple, happy with the bare minimum. Yet in one single night, these two lifted our entire trip into something we will never forget. There were moments we felt almost unworthy of such attention and generosity.
If there is any justice in the world, their names should be spoken with admiration across the hospitality industry. Hotels may have beautiful rooms and elegant decor, but it is people like Mr. Sohadev and Swostika who give a place its soul. They are the heartbeat of G Ramayana, and because of them, this memory will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
Oh, and by the way… the rooms were amazing too. But between you and us, they could have given us a tent and with these two taking care of us, it still would have felt like a palace.
