We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Cicadas. The location is amazing, and the drive up was a good challenge 🙂 The view from our cottage was amazing and the location of the property is excellent. It is on top of a steep hill with excellent views. It is fairly isolated and free from all sort of pollution (smoke, noise, dust etc). It has excellent views of the mountains and a far off lake. Sitting in the balcony is a serene experience that is worth the steep climb. It has safe parking for 2-3 cars. The cabins are very well furnished, and very clean and well-maintained. The staff at the property comprises 2 young men who take immense care of guests and are proud to run the place. In resorts we often find staff who speak nicely and offer help. But from experience one can understand they are doing what the company demands. But these 2 youngsters are quite naturally sincere and happy to engage with guests and ensure they have a wonderful stay at Cicadas.

We don't have any negative comments about the property. For people looking for a full fledged resort experience, this property does not qualify to actually be called a "Resort". It is a 1-acre wild property with 2 beautiful A-Frame Cottages that are well furnished. There is a small open area for a bonfire. There are no other facilities in the property.

The place is very clean and tidy.
