The Homestay was outstanding. The entire host family is very friendly and highly service oriented. I got a true experience of Fijian culture, which a hotel stay can not provide. They have a way of making you a part of the family. The hosts sing and play guitar to welcome you and again on farewell. The food is outstanding. I got freshly plucked, organic fruits and vegetables directly from the plant. The coconut water provided was from freshly plucked fruits. The chief hostess is an amazing chef and made delicious and yummy meals with a new combination in every meal. For all my future trips to Taveuni, I will be staying with them.

Jaydee’s is a true Fijian homestay experience – you’re staying with a local family in their home - the facilities are simple but clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. What makes it truly special is the family, who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The warmth and hospitality of the family was the highlight. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, especially the grandmother, who radiates love and generosity. Staying here feels like being part of the family, and it’s a privilege to share in their home and culture. Breakfast was tasty, served with warmth and generosity – the perfect start to the day. And we had the yummiest dinner, made with love and care by the grandmother of the house. It was our favourite dinner of our trip! The location is great for exploring Taveuni. It’s peaceful and feels authentically local, while still being convenient for getting around the island. Just remember, you're at the top of the Island so if you're looking to get around lots, consider hiring a car. We used the local bus service and it was great, but it's not the most regular of service. (enjoy Fiji time!!) Mostly, we had a blast getting around walking which built up an appetite :) Reach out and ask the family when you book if you need help getting around, they're more than happy to help sort out local transportation. Honestly, the only thing we wish is that we had found Jaydee’s earlier and stayed longer! It was the most wonderful stay and the most amazing memories. We can not recommend it enough!! There’s nothing we didn’t like, it was a truly wonderful stay – just be mindful that it’s a homestay, not a resort, so if you’re expecting luxury service and an ensuite bathroom, this isn’t the place for you!

Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueilli. La famille est adorable, l'ambiance est chaleureuse et conviviale. Nous avons passé de très belles soirées à discuter avec les autres clients et la famille. La grand-mère est très gentille, aux petits soins avec les invités et prépare d'excellents repas , copieux. Le grand père nous a fait l'honneur de sortir sa guitare pour chanter de magnifiques chansons . L'hébergement est certe rustique mais fonctionnel et propre. La maison est dans la nature , le jardin est fleurie , très jolie cadre. Nous avons été conduits au ferry de bon matin , nickel Nous avons envie de revenir pour un plus long séjour :-)

Hélas, les chiens du voisinage s'en donnent à cœur joie pour aboyer pendant la nuit. La douche est froide mais heureusement la chaleur de l'accueil et la joie de vivre la famille parviennent rapidement à réchauffer les coeurs. <3

De mensen zijn zo aardig, die maken het geweldig. Ik heb gekookt met de eigenaresse, ze hebben je tips over dingen te doen in de omgeving en regelen vervoer voor je. Ze verzorgen een heerlijk ontbijt en tegen betaling ook lunch en diner. Echt een aanrader, het is heerlijk en er zijn geen restaurants in de buurt.
