The homestay is inside a new residential layout (access is via narrow roads, but Kanchi has notoriously narrow roads and had terrible traffic when we were there) about 3-5 kms from Prakash Silks on Gandhi road. Decent place on the first floor of a G+2-storey home. The first floor is a 2 bed/hall/kitchen house, and we stayed in the (larger) twin double bedroom. Well maintained; toilet/bathroom was clean. AC was not working. The sink is in the bedroom, not in the bathroom. And oh - the check-in time is 2pm, not 11am as mentioned on this site.
Staff didn't expect a pet even though we had informed the owner earlier.
