Mediterranean Heaven

Veliki i ugodan stan na dobroj poziciji sa velikim balkonom. Nalazi se na trećem katu u zgradi sa liftom. Ima sve što treba: spavaća soba sa velikim krevetom, kupatilo sa veš mašinom, velika kuhinja, dnevna soba, odličan wi-fi, smart tv I balkon. Vlasnik je komunikativan i na vrijeme vam pošalje potrebne informacije oko ključa i smještaja. Ako ste sa autom, možda će vam trebati malo vremena da nađete parking, ali uz malo strpljenja i to se može riješiti.

The appartment is very good equipted and clean. The kitchen is new and has everything one needs. The host is friendly and leaves nearby so she came immediately to help with the internet, that had a problem when we arrived - due to works in the area for the last couple of weeks, as she let us know.

Even though there are nice and modern central heating elements, they are not working, which makes the appartment cold. The heat depends solely on one aircondition in the bedroom and one in the living room. This is not great as the heat is not comfortable with the dryness of the air, and the BATHROOM is NOT heated. The jacuzzi shown at the fotos is not ment for use. The tiles at the floor are very cold. A pair of carpets could have warmed it up a bit. Slippers and thick socks are needed. The pillows could be softer as well.

The apartment was comfortable and had the basics for our stay. It was cold and wet (rainy) when we arrived and we had a hard time figuring out the heat situation, until we messaged the property. They were very helpful and always communicated well with us and were very flexible when we had to extend our stay. The hot water and shower were great to warm up in, the kitchen had the very basics to cook for the days we were there. It was a good location to go out for groceries, or drive to the city centre or the beach.

There was construction in the building during our stay, it was very noisy at times of the morning when they were drilling in the concrete and the noise was very loud throughout the building. It would have been good to know this was happening during the stay. Also, it was raining very heavy while we were staying and the hood vent above the stove was dripping water all over the stove top! We had to put a pot on the stove to catch the water.

The location of the apartment is great for getting around Kalamata, although we didn't get out much due to the weather. Easy to gain access through the lockbox for the keys. The apartment is comfortable, although it is very basic for amenities in the kitchen. Basic coffee supplies to get you started, but no spices or oil. The host was easy to communicate with and responded immediately to inquiries to extend our stay, they were very accommodating. The elevator is very interesting!

Maybe a few more items in the kitchen and some extra blankets. Also, they were doing some work on the building during our stay and there was a lot of noise from drilling through concrete, It would have been good to know when we were checking in that there would be some construction happening.
