Chocolate Barn

A cozy and clean apartament, the owner was also very kind, communicative and available at any time. Even though it is a small apartament, it felt pretty spacious for three people. The place of the apartament was also good for us, very walkable and not far from the city center. Has free netflix and youtube, also drinks like coffee from a coffee machine, tea. Very good place for the price:))

The showerhead is a bit broken so the water didn't run correctly during our stay and the sofa was not most comfortable to sleep in

Even it was extremely hot outside (around 37°) apartment kept nice temperature.

Peter is such a lovely host, who we could tell cares for his guests just through messages. When we told him about how hot it was in the room, he found us a portable air-conditioning unit by 10am the next morning (big props to Peter!). The room was sweetly decorated, and had a small kitchenette. The building felt secure too.

Unfortunately, we visited in summer, and this accommodation was very uncomfortable in the heat as it does not have air-conditioning - even just in underwear after a cold shower, it was stiflingly hot inside. It is quite a decent walk from any of the major sights in Budapest, and once again in the heat, it made for some exhausting days. The shower is also a bit broken, with water spraying in every direction but your body! Would be good if the shower head gets replaced. (It may be much more comfortable in Winter?)
