⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **10/10 – A true home away from home, perfect for families** Bann Semae is exceptional accommodation and an ideal place to stay, especially for families. The layout is thoughtful and spacious, with **two rooms that worked perfectly** for us. Between the rooms and the kitchen is a **beautiful, artistic shared space** that really makes the property feel special rather than just somewhere to sleep. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a **large fridge and proper cooking equipment**, which made it easy to prepare meals and not have to eat out every time — a big plus when travelling with **young children**. The outdoor-style living area is a highlight: our kids loved playing there, while adults had plenty of places to relax. There are **hammocks, a sofa, a large stylish dining table, Thai cushions, a flat day bed, and beach chairs in the sun**. It’s a calm, welcoming space that encourages you to slow down and enjoy being there. The accommodation is also **very quiet at night**, which made sleeping easy and relaxing. The location is excellent. The property is **around 50 metres from the beach**, with a sandy street leading straight to a **clean, quiet beach** shaded by overhanging trees. It’s perfect for swimming, walking, or simply relaxing. Nearby, you can enjoy a **massage overlooking Bang Bao Pier and the bay**, which was a wonderful experience and added to the sense of escape. Overall, Bann Semae truly felt like a **home away from home**. Comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed, it’s an outstanding choice for **families and children**, and we would absolutely stay again and recommend it without hesitation.

Have to remember to keep the kitchen doors closed because there are monkeys in the area.

Great location in the most chilled part of Koh Chang. Super friendly hosts and local people. Two minutes walk from the beach, shop, restaurants and bars. The whole atmosphere of the place is great. The bungalow is very cozy and clean, with spacious patio for resting and spending time with the family.

There is no water heater but this is not an issue in tropical climate.

Our hosts met us with the keys and showed us great spots to eat and drink. The kitchen has everything and a nice living area for a family. The open concept of the structure has pros and cons.
