Vacation apartment Grubenkopf - Ferienhof Allgäu Max

Our lovely Grubenkopf vacation rental, measuring 52 m², is suitable for 2–4 people. The apartment is located on the first floor and features a living/sleeping area, a separate bedroom, an open kitchen, a dining area that seats 4, and a brightly tiled bathroom. The apartment faces southeast and features a beautiful southeast-facing terrace and an adjacent small private garden behind the house. In the light-filled living/sleeping area, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the surrounding nature and the Allgäu Mountains all day long. Here you’ll find a double bed and a cozy sitting area with two chairs and a small table. The separate bedroom is also furnished with a double bed. The large closets offer plenty of space for your belongings. The design featuring the large hiking boot is absolutely delightful. The living room features a 43-inch flat-screen TV with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The modern open-concept kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a 4-burner ceramic cooktop with an oven, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster. In front of the kitchen is a seating area that seats 4 people. Directly from the entryway—which features a coat rack and a large mirror—you have access to the bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, and a heater with a towel warmer. From the living room, you step out onto your 10 m² terrace with an adjoining lawn. And this apartment has another hidden gem: Adjacent to the terrace is a small garden with a lawn behind the house. Here, you can relax and enjoy the sun, read a book in peace, or watch the horses.



Central and quiet location in Füssen
The AllgäuMax vacation farm is located on the very quiet outskirtson the outskirts of Füssen at an elevation of 800 meters and offers everything you need for a relaxing and varied vacation in the Allgäu. Our farm is located at the end of a private road. In 10 minutes on foot (1.4 km), you can reach the center of Füssen’s romantic old town with its many shops and restaurants. Whether your interests lie in sports, culture, relaxation, or experiencing nature: Here in the Königswinkel, we’ll make sure all your wishes are fulfilled.

Apartments in a modern country-style design
After taking over the Popplerhof in 2017, all 8 vacation apartments were renovated in an Alpine style with modern furnishings and solid-wood floors. Here you’ll find comfort with well-equipped kitchens, cozy dining areas, comfortable beds, and striking black-and-white photographs depicting the Allgäu’s cultural landscape. 43-inch flat-screen TVs with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi are included. All apartments feature a balcony or terrace and offer views of the surrounding Allgäu mountains and the Ammer Mountains, after which the respective apartments are named. Take a look out the window, and you’ll find your mountain, too.

Plenty of space at the vacation farm
Our vacation farm is a former working farm, surrounded by 3.50 hectares of green meadows. Here you’ll find two open stables with horses and donkeys. From our local mountains, the “Galgenbichel” and the Stierbichel, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of all of Füssen, Lake Forggensee, the stunning mountain panorama, and the castles of King Ludwig II.

Donkey Hikes
You can book guided donkey hikes at our farm. Please allow at least one and a half hours; longer hikes are available by arrangement.



Costs on site: A 30% deposit is due within 5 days of booking. The remaining balance is due 1 week before arrival; you will receive an email regarding this 2 weeks before arrival. Check-in is available starting at 4:00 p.m. Check-out is by 9:30 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request.Keys are normally handed over in person on-site; otherwise, they are provided via a key safe. You will receive further information via email 2 weeks before arrival. Pets are not allowed. A crib and high chair can be provided free of charge upon request. A visitor’s tax is charged separately and must be paid in advance via bank transfer. Children under 5 are exempt from the visitor’s tax; children ages 6–15 pay €1.25 per person per night; adults (ages 16 and older) pay €2.50 per person per night.Final cleaning, Wi-Fi, on-site parking, and a bike garage (including an e-bike charging station), as well as hand towels, bath towels, and dish towels (changed weekly) are included in the price.



Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
