Apartment, Bathroom, Toilet:
The Waldeck vacation rental is located right on the edge of the forest and is on the first floor of my two-family home. It is accessible via a separate entrance behind the house and is separated from the rest of the private living space. It is also located in a very quiet residential area, somewhat set back from the main road.
The vacation apartment offers plenty of space for 1–4 people with 85 m² of living space. By arrangement, an additional 1–2 people could be accommodated in the spacious living room.
The photos show the fold-out bed (0.80 by 1.80 m) with a 10-cm-thick mattress and an additional topper for the fourth person.
The two children’s armchairs provided can be converted into sleeping arrangements for toddlers up to 1.30 m or 1.50 m
The large, modern, and comfortably furnished living room, featuring a pull-out corner sleeper, a separate sofa bed, and a flat-screen TV, invites you to relax and unwind. From here, there is direct access to the patio and garden.
The dining room features a dining set for 6 people. A high chair for toddlers is available. Here, you can enjoy meals and play card or board games to pass the time. You’re welcome to borrow games from our collection.
A small storage room in the bedroom offers space for bags, suitcases, and supplies. Cleaning supplies, the vacuum cleaner, and the freestanding clothes dryer are also stored here.
The kitchen, which adjoins the dining room, was completed in mid-March 2024. It is brand-new and leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. It can be closed with a sliding door and includes the following items:
- Tableware (dinner plates, soup plates, dessert plates, breakfast bowls)
- Cutlery, large and small sharp knives, cheese grater, vegetable peeler, salad servers
- Skillets, pots, bowls, serving platters, baking dish
- Glasses and mugs
- Cooking pots and pans
- Oils and spices, as well as various teas, coffee, and coffee filters
- Containers for taking food home (please bring them back!)
- Coffee maker, thermos, and electric kettle
- Toaster and microwave
- Oven, stovetop, and dishwasher
- Air fryer, raclette grill, and tabletop grill
- Refrigerator with built-in freezer
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe, nightstands, and a dresser. The setup is ready for an additional TV here. Duvets, pillows, and bed linens are included in the price.
The new bathroom with a large shower is equipped with a toilet, a large sink, a mirror cabinet, wall cabinets, a hair dryer, and a new washing machine. Shower towels, hand towels, and washcloths are provided and included in the price. Detergent is also provided if you’d like to do your laundry on-site. Toiletries such as toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and cotton swabs are also available… We all know how it feels when you’ve left something at home that you actually meant to bring on your trip
Between the bathroom, bedroom, and living room is a small hallway with a coat rack for your jackets, shoes, hats, etc.

On-site costs: Payment is due in advance via bank transfer or in cash upon arrival. A deposit of 50% of the total price is due 14 days before arrival via bank transfer. Check-in from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM; check-out by 12:00 PM. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via the key safe provided. Small pets are allowed for a fee of €10 per day per pet. Included in the base price (towels, bed linens, Wi-Fi, parking, etc.) An additional sofa bed is available for two more people upon request.
Check-in is from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
