This was the *best* experience we've had using Vrbo or unnamed competitor. The cabin was surprisingly spacious, with quality decor/furniture/wifi/cleanliness/ample parking, while it's not that remote, you still have some privacy from the neighbors. What really set this place apart was the little things that indicated strong customer focus and attention to detail on the part of the management - ample firewood, the kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms had complimentary disposable razors/toothbrushes/etc. Check out process was a breeze. I'd definitely come back here the next time I'm in the area. The only downside is that it's on the side of a hill, so there's not much room for backyard activities.

Our group of 3 families with kids stayed here and it was the perfect place for the adults to relax while the kids enjoyed all the cabin fun - a movie room, a game room and lots of space outside to run and play. The house had everything we needed and more. We loved that there are three levels in the house so the group could separate as needed. We never felt cramped and had plenty of room. I’ve never been to a vacation so well stocked as this one! We loved our stay, thank you!

The cabin is very well provisioned. The upstairs adult game room also had some toys (a big toy dump truck and a great Lincoln Logs set) which the pre-school set loved. The room layout was not as the owner described it before we committed to this place and that was a problem. Shortly after check-in the owner let us know as a breezy side note that the previous tenants had "seen some cockroaches." We had already discovered the cockroaches--one cabinet was alive with them. The owner didn't act like that was serious. I think it is. (Yesterday we discovered that at least one had traveled home with us, yuck.) We soon discovered that even though the refrigerator was reporting great numbers for cooling and freezing the refrigerator was not cool and the freezer didn't freeze things. (On day two the ice cream was still mush.) The ice maker didn't produce ice either. The assortment of window AC units worked in some rooms, but not all and the house was often uncomfortable. Some rooms had no AC and they were hot. All napping babies woke up bathed in sweat. The dishwasher sometimes didn't release the cleaning tab so it had to be run twice. The listed playground doesn't exist and the terrain is so steep that I don't think there could be one. The visit was to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday and he said he enjoyed the whole long weekend so our main goal was met.
