Mimosa Golf & Beach apartment

Big, spacious apartment. Excellent air-conditioning, probably the best we've ever encountered! Fabulous choice of tv channels, super comfy beds and sofa. Very spacious ensuite bathroom with big shower. Comfortable big chairs on balcony with very effective fans outside on balcony. Shutters superb and completely blocked out the day light. Generally very quiet complex with clean pool and well maintained gardens. Can walk into harbour area within 15 minutes down hill. We usually got a taxi back up for €7/8.

Front door incredibly hard to open and this had been mentioned in reviews last year but we presumed it had been rectified. Other residents were having the same problem. This hindered our daughters returning to the apartment without us as they couldn't open the door. Dan enter via an underground garage but we weren't comfortable letting them do this. Owner, Agnes and her son couldn't have been more helpful via WhatsApp and a visit. It seemed to be getting fixed the day before we left. Sunbeds sadly needed replacing around the pool. 10 new ones appeared 2 days before we left! Could do with replacing them all. €150 quoted for midstay clean for 2 bedroom apartment was very expensive. We holiday twice a year and normally charged between €60/80 for 2 hour clean and change of beds.

Very nicely decorated and spotless.

Everything was great except it took a bit of time for the water to heat. Even when it was heated it wasn’t very hot so the shower pressure wasn’t great. Just a note: I originally booked this property it was confirmed at X amount for our stay. I needed to make a small change to the booking so I rang Bookings.com and the agent told me to cancel the booking and rebook while she was on the phone. The cost went up by over €200 in the space of two minutes and the agent told me there was nothing she/they could do to change it back. I’ve emailed bookings.com about five times and I’ve given them all the information they’ve requested and still no one has got back to me or refunded the extra money they charged me.

Host was very helpful, apartment was clean and pleasently furnished

Front door to apartment building was very stiff and sometimes difficult to get in. Location of property and view was very poor, overlooked building, no views of garden/pool only entrance to building in front.
