The Location In terms of location, The Date Palm Estate hits the Indio sweet spot. It’s hard to find a stay more centrally-located than this home, which is within walking distance of the Empire Polo Club grounds. You’re surrounded by many well-known golf courses and country clubs, which run year-round in the desert. If you’re looking for some adventure and views, the world-class hiking trails of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument are wonderfully preserved by local conservationists and just a short drive away. Indio may be small, but it is packed with things to do! Local Attractions: Living Desert Zoo And Gardens, PGA Golf Course, Big Rock Golf & Pub, Old Town La Quinta, Shields Date Garden, Arnold Palmer’s Restaurant, Tack Room Tavern, Jackalope Ranch, Okura Sushi *Home Truths:* - Please note that we require a security deposit of $1500 which will be collected after the booking has been made. - As of January 2022, the City of Indio requires the reservation holder to sign an additional acknowledgment form along with providing AvantStay with a valid government ID, license plate and vehicle information, and the names of all guests in their group. AvantStay will reach out after booking to obtain this information. - The outdoor light for the pickleball court has been disconnected and is currently unusable. - Outdoor amenities cannot be used between 9pm - 8am (Sun - Thurs) or 10pm to 8am (Fri - Sat) - Pool heat is available for an additional fee but must be requested at least 48 hours before your stay. - Please note: Pool heat will not be available for the summer months (June 1 - September 30). - Pool heat fee is $500/day. - This home also features two day beds. - This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - By booking any of the available add-ons the renter understands they are not affiliated with the property owner, and the guest/renter agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless the property owner for any and all claims related to any third-party activities. - During the summer months, desert temperatures are extremely high, which may cause the pool temperature to rise as well. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to control this. - A rod iron portable pool fence can be installed upon request by a preferred local vendor. Guests should budget approximately $850 for this service and coordinate through the local concierge after booking. ​​​​​​​This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones! --- The bedroom configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / King bed w/ ensuite Bedroom 2 / Queen bed Bedroom 3 / Two queen over queen bunk beds w/ shared ensuite Bedroom 4 / King bed w/ ensuite Bedroom 5 / Queen bed w/ shared ensuite Bedroom 6 / King bed Bedroom 7 / King bed Bedroom 8 / King bed w/ ensuite --- This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
