Shelter Chalet

Great inside and beautifuly decorated, very large house and enjoyed the multi levels. House has everything you need, and the kitchen is fully equipped!! The game room and movie were a bouns. The hot tub was nice and VERY hot. BBQ worked great.

Arrived for check-in at 3:55 pm for 4 pm check-in per website and confirmation. 3 vehicles were at property in the driveway and was not able to park. Cleaning crew still in house cleaning until 4:30 pm and had to sit outside and wait to enter. Had 12 mo old and was not able to enjoy outside due to posion oak and ivy everywhere, broken flower pots pieces around firepit and wasps due to huge nest hanging in tree in driveway. due to the nest,we were not able to be outside and enjoy outdoors, bee allergies! Out door area could use some attention. AC in one of the upstairs room did not work, contacted the owner, and stated to keep the door open to allow cool air from downstairs in. Had to go into town and get a fan to help cool off and ended up sleeping on the couch due to how hot room was. The owner did offer the next day to see if he was able to get HVAC tech come out if we were ok with them coming during our stay. Down stairs basement by day 3 had a strong smell of mildew once the smell of cleaning chemicals was worn off, and 3 people in our party had an allergy attack. The floor in the basement bedroom is bubbling up and has a huge area that is lifting, making it unsteady and tripping hazard.
