Booking.com did what they could to help with the issues and all of the comments below are to address the misleading info about the property and poorly maintained building and not a jab at Booking.com but to the property owner and management company " Hosteeva". This used to be a wonderful nine building resort that I had stayed at years ago with my family that had several pools and a waterpark in Mrytle Beach for over 70 years and during our stay this year we found out from the locals its now is just really a single condo building still using the "SeaMist" resort name in their ads on multiple sites not just here on Booking .com, and the resort has been closed since covid19 and the rooms that are available are private apartments that people rent out. We arrived very late the first night of our stay and found that parking at the building is almost nonexistent since the resort is closed. The old parking garage is blocked off, as are most of the lots; leaving you to park at least a block away each day or pay at meters to be close, the locals know this and use what parking is available for themselves as permits are no longer enforced on the properties open lot. One of the two elevators was broken as was one of the entry doors; all of the pools and the water park are disgusting with green slimy water and closed by the health department. There is no one at the property to assist you with any concerns and the signs with numbers to contact the property managers are confusing and your calls go to Hosteeva with poorly English-speaking reps in California. The buildings security are of no use to help. After complaining to the listed numbers to Hosteeva, my CC company and Booking.com a rep from Hosteeva finally called me back after we left and asked for pictures of the issues.
