Cozy loft in city center

La rénovation est de belle qualité et de goût. L’emplacement est au calme et le centre ville est facilement accessible

L’électroménager est assez complexe et il n’y a aucun mode d’emploi. En ce qui concerne le parking « gratuit », j’ai demandé où je pouvais me garer. Le propriétaire a répondu n’importe où, pas de problème. Résultat j’ai eu une amende… pas de nouvelles du propriétaire depuis que je l’en ai informé.

It was quite cold inside, maybe an electric heater for when the heating is off would be beneficial

The apartment was perfect for us, it was clean and modern. The apartment had everything we required for a city break away. The bed was large and very comfortable, there was lots of storage for clothes. The bathroom was a good size and clean, with extras like shower gel, extra toilet rolls, towels and a washing machine. The kitchen area had a fridge, microwave, and electric hob for cooking. There was washing up liquid, sponges, tea towels and kitchen accessories available. I contacted the owner, prior to check in and clear details were confirmed explaining how to find the property and I was given the code for the key pad entry to the door. We had a lovely time in Lithuania and would highly recommend staying at this property. There is a petrol station across the road about 5 minutes away, where you can get water, milk and essentials. There is also a large Lidi about 15mins away for fresh breakfast and more shopping. The location of the property was a 30 minute walk into the old town, we managed fine we are young and fit, but if you are unable to walk so far, bolt taxis are cheap and easy to use. We used the bus 3G from the airport it dropped us on the next street to the property and only cost 0.90 euro, you get onto outside the airport doors.

The small issues we had that didn't really affect us but may bother others, were that there was lots of construction going off on the whole building. We are early raisers in the morning but was surprised to hear drilling at 07:30 on the roof, luckily we were getting up anyway. I think once the work is complete it will be an amazing building. A small touch that may add to an overall experience, would be if a small bottle of water in fridge would be appreciated. It is just some Ideas that other apartments have done and makes a difference. A fault of mine was I did not realise that there was an extra charge of city taxes, 2 euros per person per night. Just to bear in mind for the future, and read the small print.
