Colina Buena Vista A5

La ubicación en plena naturaleza y cerca (en coche) de Jarabacoa.

Located a few km down a rural road from Jarabacoa, Colina Buena Vista is a sweet green haven with the only cacophony coming from birds and farm fowl. The property offers secure, off street parking, gardens, a small pool with loungers, thatched-roof seating area, playground, another deck kind of like a tree deck and, despite what the booking.com description says, very good Wi-Fi. There is a long low-rise classic building to one side that houses four apartments, 1a to 4a, while 5a appears to be down and around the corner under 4a. So as I actually booked 5a we really appreciated being put into 4a. You can park directly outside your apartment. The apartment is large and comfortable. The kitchen seems well outfitted. The bathroom is modern with plenty of hot water. Lorenzo made us a fabulous breakfast in the morning. One of the best we'd had while travelling two weeks in DR. If you're exploring the area this is a great place to stay for a few days. Jarabacoa itself is busy, hectic and loud while this place is rural and relaxing despite the farm bird noises. And affordable; really great value for money.

Really need to Whatsapp with the owner prior to arrival. Even though I had and we made arrangements, it wasn't that straightforward but fortunately the security guard was there to show us our room and give us keys. No sheet on the bed and only one thin covered duvet which was too narrow for the double bed with two people. I had to turn it cross-ways to cover us both! No reading lamps in bedroom. Most windows have bug screens but some are damaged or ill fitting so bugs get in. The living room window only has shutters and security bars, no window or screen, so you can't open it for light or ventilation unless you're good with bugs. Just FYI.... roosters, chickens, ducks, geese and guinea fowl are your neighbours. If you're not used to farm fowl noises, you will be awake at 5am. Not unpleasant, just fyi.

Tranquilo , dentro de la montaña, nos tocó una cabaña a estrenar

Está retirado del centro pero si quieres estar fuera del ruido lo recomiendo , la cabaña que nos tocó todavía no estaba terminada le faltaban cosas, considero que debió costarnos menos que las casas que eran más grandes y cómodas, no fue lo que vi cuando reservé, el desayuno que te dicen incluido es malísimo lo compran fuera del alojamiento y te lo dan en un envase desechable
