Springs Motel

It was nice to be able to have a place to stay in Bloomfield. The room was nice.

I didn't like the fact that there was no staff at the location. I had to check in by phone and pay via a cash app online when I arrived. I guess that's okay if it is the only way they can be profitable and stay in business in a small town.

I was able to check in over the phone. Our room had been prepped and was ready for us so all we had to do was go to the room we were set up in, find the key, and we were good to go. I also liked the little pavillion that was added recently. Guests were using it as a place to grill food outside which was a nice feature.

The hallway seems t amplify sound so I was concerned with trying to keep noise down as I prepared our drinks for the day. Getting ice was a challenge to be quiet but I do appreciate the kitchen area and all of it's food preparation options.

The location was close to the event I was participating at in Center, Nebraska

Realized that the first snowfall of the year dumped a good amount of snow. ❄️ Unfortunately, the parking lot and sidewalks did not get cleared until the day a majority of us from the show were leaving. Had to get around ankle deep accumulation to get in and out of the building. Bed sheets were dirty, as well as the bathroom. Advertised "free" Hulu channel, but the second night, Hulu showed a message that the hotel had used all of their "home" sessions. I was not the only one who had issues with the TVs. There are not too many choices for that part of Nebraska, so options are scarce.
