Not pleasant. Was awful

The location was quite assessible and in a good place. Just a stone throw from saintsbury.

I didn't like the fact that the host was trying to make me incur additional charges for having some friends over. The property says the the whole house is yours for the night, and it had 5 beds. My friends were over for the night, and stayed in the 5 beds provided. The host was wanting to extort more money from me for having my friends over. Also, the water in the shower room was extremely hot, making showering impossible and it had no means of regulating the water. It possed safety concern. Also, it was nearly impossible to sleep, because just walking upstairs made so much noise downstairs making it look like a war zone. Also, the mattress topper had some stains in it.. And the host tried to blame it on me, which was a really terrible.

Not fussy, convenient house

2 toilets, 2 rooms with double beds. Plenty of mugs, plates, cutlery and other kitchen implements. Comfy double beds, singles were small but ok. Garden looked nice. Plenty of room. Kids liked the table hockey etc (table football ball missing).

Parking was very difficult for 2 cars, would have been tricky even for 1. Having any off road parking in this area is a plus, just be aware you'll struggle if your cars are big! Road noise could be a problem, the windows didn't seem to have good sealing. It was mostly ok through the night and not so bad in that back bedrooms. Not a really busy road.

Excellent value, exactly what we required

location was ideal for our visit, the house was well equipped and had everything we needed, also has a nice garden to sit out inut in, had parking outside, provided we everything we needed and would defnitley re-book

Could be better....

The location was very good. Within a short walk of a Sainsbury's local and public transport. The house had basic kitchen equipment, utensils and plates and cutlery needed. There was also a working oven and stove which allowed us to cook our dinner and breakfast. Wifi worked and had a smart TV which was great. Had a small games table which was a nice addition for the kids. The garden is nicely decorated and the bedrooms are all good sizes. The master bedroom has a nice dresser as well. There were wardrobes in every room. Parking is available directly in front / beside the house.

Unfortunately, it didnt look like the house was cleaned before we arrived. The bathroom bin was filled with water! The toilet seat in bathroom upstairs is smaller than the bowl. The rugs, floor, bathroom, and fridge were particularly dirty. There were snail or slug trails in the kitchen by the back door. Would have been nice to have some kitchen roll and foil. The bath towels didnt look very clean. The AC unit in one room was leaking water onto the floor. The top stair to the landing is very weak and squeaky feels like will cave in?

Not a bad way to say! Would stay again.

Very spacious, has all cooking utensils which we loved as could cook a good meal. All entertained by the little football/pool table. Very very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Overall had a good stay and would definitely stay again!
