Canopy Chalet 6

The property was very well situated, close walk to shops in Nelly bay and a short walk from the ferry terminal. Also a short walk from Nelly bay beach which was a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. The kitchen had all basic amenities needed to cook which was really handy during our stay and the bedroom was comfortable. The aircon was also excellent as it was extremely humid outside and it was great being able to come back and cool down. Having access to Netflix and YouTube on the tv was a great addition as it allowed us to wind down at night after a long day. Overall the property was very well kept and a great place to stay for a mini vacation.

Myself and my partner found that we didn’t get any reception in our particular property and there was no wifi access. For someone who doesn’t mind going remote it is a great place to stay, however if you prefer access to wifi and having reception it may not be the best place. I found that I needed to go to the entrance of the carpark to get any reception. Having a pool right outside the property was also a great addition, however we stayed for 4 days and during this time it was not cleaned meaning there were lots of leaves and dead bugs in the water so we didn’t really use it. Another thing we noticed was that the couch had quite a few stains, despite this was very comfy as it was a sofa bed so it was great to watch movies at night. It would be nice to offer wifi access in future to attract more stays and maybe have a regular clean of the pool organised.
