AMARA KOSHA MISTY NANDI HILLS - CN - Premium 2BHK Pool Villa with Private Jacuzzi, Movie Room & Complimentary Home-Made Food

I came here with my family, and the drive down from Bangalore was really beautiful- a classic relaxed drive. The location was really good as it was at the base of the hills, in an open space that was really nice. We brought both our pets and it's a great comfortable place for a relaxing and enjoyable time. Mr. Bhaskar, the caretaker, was extremely polite and charming, and took great care of the property. The food was very good and homely. The villa itself was very clean and well maintained, and there is a pool inside that was actually really clean, with good maintenance. Absolutely wonderful service and awesome rooming. Will 10/10 recommend to friends and family, and will absolutely come again.

The food was very very good, but again it's home style cooking, so if anyone plans for super fancy dishes or too many varieties - can be a bit disappointed, but honestly the food was really worth it, very good quality.

The interiors are tastefully done, the pool and the jacuzzi was where we spent most of the time. Felt premium! The place looked spotless. The linens were fresh and clean. No issues with electricity, hot or cold water etc. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary dishes. Would have loved having more ice trays in the fridge but wasn't much of a deal breaker. There is a projector upstairs which is a great add on, and there is also a pop up bed in that projector area which definitely gives an extra bed space in case you don't want to share rooms.

The price - the place was extremely overpriced for it's location. We paid 25k for a night which definitely felt a lot. It's located way too interior, within a gated community, with barely any view of Nandi hills. You do get good views of the surrounding hills but definitely couldn't see Nandi from where we were. Food could have been better/tastier, but the options and portions were huge and more than enough for the four of us. Jacuzzi - Not all controls were functional.We did manage to use the bubble feature but not much of the jet spray features, which was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, it's still the USP of this property! The proper is close to a quarry I guess. We could hear drilling and rock explosions during the night which could get loud and noisy if you are in the balconies. Hopefully it isn't a daily thing but just something to be aware of!

Bhaskar, our host, was exceptionally accommodating and quick to respond to our specific needs. The chef’s dishes were delicious, with generous portions that easily satisfied everyone. The stunning view and refreshing breeze made the experience even more worthwhile. Swimming pool, bar, and other facilities were all well maintained. A lovely place for a short trip on our way back to the airport to London.

Fixtures and fittings as well as finishing could do with an update/refresh, but this won't put us off from booking another stay at this place.

The property is clearly understaffed. While the housekeeper on site is extremely helpful, he has more than he can handle on his plate, and consequently meals and other requests get delayed. Apparently he usually has a big team of people to work with, but they have all gone home for Diwali. It's a bizarre decision by the hosts to let out the property at one of the busiest times of the year with a skeleton crew. Quality of dinner was great, but breakfast and lunch could be improved. Shower hot water runs out quickly.
