The spaciousness of the property. The kitchen area was bright and full of light. Plenty of things/items for the grandchildren to keep them amused. Plenty of toilets. The pool area was a lovely place to relax.
The air conditioner does not work, thank goodness the temperatures stayed in the 20's, otherwise it would have been a bit uncomfortable. For a solar heated pool, I thought it would have been a bit warmer.

The quality of the house was special, it was clean, smart looking, large.
The bedding was very good and comfortable and luckily had good quality warm doonas.
The grounds are pretty special, shame it was torrential rain so we couldn’t explore it.
There was a cupboard full of basic condiments, although we were unaware so we brought all our own
I definitely would go back there, but only in the warmer season.
Wasn’t happy that the air-con didn’t work so we couldn’t get the place heated on arrival and we weren’t advised.
We were super lucky that one family member is an expert at fires, and he brought DRY wood with him, so eventually the place started to warm up. The house did supply a small amount of dry wood near the back door, but not enough. A distance from the house, there was a pile of wet wood under a tarp!
There are large windows everywhere but no curtaining to keep the warmth in.

Very nice house, clean, great location.
There is no heating, house must be heated with firewood and host do not provide firewood. You must bring a lot of fire wood and make sure you have enough, otherwise you may freeze.
Internet connection is very slow.

The spaciousness & items for the children to use
I booked it because it was advertised as having a “Heated Pool” - but the pool was not what I would call “Heated” - Another TV would have been a bonus
