Also the owner contacted me after my review and was very rude about the honest review I left.

Upon arrival they were still busy cleaning our cottage,we asked to check in early because we came from far but they said they had to prioritise another guest because she was complaining and when we arrived they were still busy cleaning our place. The shower is small and the shower head and water pressure is next to nothing. The place is invested with cockroaches!!! When I stood up in the middle of the night they were crawling everywhere !!!

I didn’t like the communication between Booking.com and the owner The reason is because when we arrived the owner was not even aware that we made the booking and that shook me yet I’ve made booking 3 weeks ago otherwise the place was good

Booking.com did not match our expectations, but La Bella Vida Self catering Apartments did.

Place of good value for money!

Booking.com did show this place to accommodate 5 adults, one child and two babies. However, place was not able to accommodate our needs as expected from Booking.com. We did, however, find and amicable arrangement with La Bella Vida Self catering Apartments to host us accordingly.

Review - good but with some changes can be great

House 1 was clean. Staff was good. Swimming pool was a win due to heat. Overall the stay was good.

Aircon would be great. Need extention cables to be able to use night light in rooms. Block out curtains would be good due to the sun. Main rooms bed was very uncomfortable may need to be replaced.

Modern space with plenty room

Loved the amount of space the unit had and that it had amenities like a washing machine and stove and oven. Modern design of the space.

Was waiting for 20 minutes to access the property even though I informed the host what time we would be there. Staff could have communicated better regarding the delay.

Trap door was open No fan or aircon despite asking for it WiFi connected but no signal Tv at first did not function thereafter was intermittent Host as well as staff not there upon arrival even though we advised we were going to be late due to travel, neighbour assisted with handing over keys and checking tv and kept stating that things were getting stolen and took out pics of each person with id as if we were thevies, they were also unaware of any rules clearly showing not staff and said they were doing a favour for the host When they came to handover the keys they left gate open and 2 random guys walked in asking for rooms making us feel unfair

TV wouldnt work half the time. Wifi stopped working. Very small bathroom and outside area. Limeted kitchen equioment.

We had a wonderful and quiet stay in the property.

The property is in a very good condition, just needs some fixing and minor repairs on some features in the house. Otherwise, I would recommend it to someone visiting Cape Town, it's a nice and beautiful apartment and situated in a quiet neighborhood.

Nothing, except that electricity fault we experienced, I hope next time we book the place it would be already fixed.

Unfortunately, our stay was uncomfortable due to outdated facilities and lack of cleanliness.

The accommodation was unfortunately disappointing. The facilities are old and the overall décor and interior really need an update. Cleanliness was not up to standard, and the mattresses were very uncomfortable and should be replaced. The location also felt a bit unsafe and not ideal for a relaxing stay. With some improvements and maintenance, this place could be much better.

We stayed for 5 nights. There were 2 bedrooms as indicated and aircon.

The double bed matress was uncomfortable. There was no table in the apartment - not to eat or prepare food from. The price was higher than advertised by R1000, and no refund was made as indicated. The streets around the place are filled with sex workers - day and night. Mention that in brochure, please.
