Peaceful Riverside Stay in Charming AlcocheteOur stay in this lovely apartment in Alcochete was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled on a quiet, car-free marble street. The apartment is next to the Tejo River and so it can be breezy at times but we enjoyed the constant fresh air. The apartment itself was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable week-long stay—from kitchen essentials to cozy bedding and reliable Wi-Fi. A particular highlight was discovering Perieras, a fantastic little restaurant just 45 seconds from the front door. Between the fresh seafood and warm hospitality, we quickly became regulars.Alcochete is a charming village that is rapidly growing with modern high-end outlets, loc shops, and grocery stores. A great mix of quiet atmosphere and local character. This apartment made the perfect base for exploring it—and for simply slowing down and enjoying the view.
