With easy access to Cornwall’s stunning beaches, scenic walking trails, and quaint coastal towns, Trennal Barn is the ideal base for a memorable Cornish holiday.
This spacious, pet-friendly retreat is a perfect home-from-home for families, friends, or couples seeking a peaceful getaway and a chance to explore the local area, including St Michael’s Mount, St Ives, and Land’s End. The cottage has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, featuring contemporary decor and all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable self-catered stay.
The open-plan living area is filled with natural light from large bifold doors that open onto the ever-changing landscape and private garden. In the evenings, the space becomes cozy and inviting, with comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove, TV, and Wi-Fi. A fully equipped kitchen makes meal preparation easy and enjoyable.
Head upstairs to find two thoughtfully decorated bedrooms, accommodating up to five guests. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, while the second bedroom includes a double bed and an additional single. There’s also a large, spacious family bathroom with a shower, separate bath, WC, and basin.
Trennal Barn’s location is perfect for exploring Cornwall’s iconic attractions. Just a short drive away, you’ll find the stunning beaches of Praa Sands and Porthleven, known for their golden sands and crystal-clear waters. The legendary St Michael’s Mount is nearby, where you can walk across the causeway or take a short boat ride to explore the ancient castle and gardens.
A little further along the coast, the picturesque village of Marazion offers art galleries, cafes, and scenic coastal walks. You can also visit the bustling market town of Penzance, with its vibrant harbour, local shops, and the famous Jubilee Pool lido.

The location was perfect for us to visit relatives nearby. The barn itself was lovely and comfortable and we loved using the log burner at the end of the day. As we were there in January we were able to take the dogs on the beaches we definitely recommend Praa Sands and Long Rock both within a short drive from the barn. We will most certainly be returning to Trennal Barn.

Enjoyed a lovely week's stay at Trennal Barn exploring the local coastal towns, villages and coastlines.
The barn's location offered particular opportunities for some ancestry research into our tin miner ancestors.
The barn offered a comfortable and enjoyable place to return to and relax after a day's excursion.
The cutlery tray would benefit from a couple more kitchen knives. Also some additional mugs for tea / coffee.

This is a great little cottage in a beautiful setting. Our family of 4 loved spending a long weekend here. It’s a brilliant little base to explore this part of Cornwall

We had a great stay. The house is beautiful and spacious. The area is nice and quiet and in a good position to visit attractions in the area. Would definitely come back again.
Shower door needs fixing as keeps coming off runner.
