About this house rental
You’ll live in a well-maintained, smoke-free single-family home with a garden, a covered patio, and a double carport on a quiet cul-de-sac, just a short walk or bike ride from the Kiel Canal.
Schacht-Audorf is located on the southern shore of the Kiel Canal, across from the city of Rendsburg in the center of Schleswig-Holstein, between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. There are good transportation connections to the A7 and A210 highways leading to Kiel, Flensburg, Neumünster, and Hamburg. To reach the Baltic Sea beach, take the Rader High Bridge to Eckernförde. To reach the North Sea, take the canal tunnel toward Dithmarschen.
Local amenities include shopping, a pharmacy, doctors’ offices, a snack bar, and a restaurant. There is also a swimming lake and playgrounds.
An outdoor staircase leads to the first floor, where you’ll find: the living-dining room with a TV and access to the patio and garden, 1 bedroom with 2 beds (which are pushed together but can be separated upon request), as well as a very well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a double sink, toilet, and shower/tub, an utility room with a washing machine, etc., and 2 additional bedrooms on the upper floor.
The beds are provided according to the number of guests booked.
The house is always rented to only one travel group or company at a time, ensuring that the guests know each other. Wi-Fi is personalized for each guest; working from home is also possible.
Stairs must be climbed to reach the house entrance, the upper floor, and the garden.
The basement has a separate entrance and is not available to guests. There is a garden shed on the property containing tools for garden maintenance. Guests are not permitted to enter it; parents are responsible for their children. Bicycle storage is available.
We can be reached by cell phone or landline (with voicemail), and for the duration of your stay, we offer the option of joining a WhatsApp group with us to facilitate quick communication. Upon check-in, you will receive a personalized key code, and we’d be happy to give you a tour of the house.
