Spacious, modern vacation apartment

Welcome to the old Marxgrün train station! Our cozy, modern vacation rental on the second floor is looking forward to welcoming its next guests! The apartment features two inviting rooms, each with two single beds; bed linens and towels are, of course, included. The built-in kitchen is equipped with everything you need for daily use: a refrigerator, oven, coffee maker, milk frother, electric kettle, microwave, and a small dishwasher. For entertainment, there’s a large TV and unlimited Wi-Fi included. You’ll always find a parking spot for your vehicle (even a van-sized one) right in front of the door in one of the freely available parking spaces. Thanks to the house’s secluded location, the vacation apartment is perfect for relaxing; it offers a view of the edge of the forest and our large garden with a goldfish pond. You’re also welcome to have a barbecue there upon request. You’re sure to feel right at home in our friendly community. Our “caretaker,” who lives on the first floor, is always happy to help with any questions—big or small—regarding the apartment or the property. And of course, pets are welcome here. Since this is a former train station building, you can easily reach us by public transportation. The train platform (Marxgrün stop) is right next to the building. Nevertheless, you don’t need to worry about noise from passing trains; the Agilis train to Naila and Bad Steben is very quiet. This public transportation runs every hour. In about 5 minutes, you can reach Naila, where there are plenty of shopping options, such as Rewe and Netto. The spa town of Bad Steben, with its spa park, casino, and many restaurants and cafés, is also in the immediate vicinity. Five clinics cater to the health and well-being of spa guests, and the Bad Steben thermal baths offer a comprehensive wellness and bathing program. The Frankenwaldsee is also just around the corner. In addition, the surrounding area offers many other activities, such as biking, hiking, and a visit to Hof, the nearest major city, which features concerts at the Freiheitshalle, a pedestrian zone, and much more. The Untreusee is about a 30-minute drive away. Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Check-out is available from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible by arrangement. Keys are handed over in person on-site. Pets are welcome by arrangement. There is a fee of 10.00 EUR per pet per night. The base rate includes final cleaning, towels, bed linens, utilities, parking, and Wi-Fi. This is a non-smoking apartment. We ask our guests to smoke outside. Longer stays are possible upon request. Payment must be made in full in advance via bank transfer. Unfortunately, payment by debit or credit card is not possible.
