Welcome to our beautifully converted hay loft, a serene escape nestled on a former horse farm along the picturesque Chuckatuck Creek. This rustic yet modern loft offers the perfect combination of charm and convenience, making it ideal for family getaways (sleeps up to 8 including pullouts), work trips, wedding weekends, or a peaceful retreat to recharge your soul.
The loft features a full kitchen equipped with butcher block countertops, an oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig with a variety of pods, pantry, disposal, and a dining table that seats eight, making it perfect for preparing and enjoying meals together. The rustic elegance of white oak wood floors, sourced from Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains, runs throughout the space. The living room invites relaxation with leather couches, a 75" TV, and WiFi.
The master suite includes a comfortable king-sized bed, a twin pull-out couch, a cozy loft with two twin mattresses, a reading nook, and plenty of storage space. The luxurious master bath boasts a heated floor, a large walk-in shower, a restored clawfoot tub, a private toilet area, and ample mirror space to start your day. For additional convenience, there is also a half bath in the loft.
Step outside to the spacious deck, where you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching wildlife or unwind in the evening with a cocktail as the sun sets. Wildlife sightings are a regular treat, with deer, turkey, eagles, dolphins, and river otters frequently making appearances. This was the cutest barn loft. The hosts thought of everything. It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, with beautiful views and the location was close to so much but yet far enough away to be private and quiet with a quaint country feel. It had everything we needed including various coffee and tea choices, fresh eggs from the chickens on the property, plenty of games and a well thought out guide to all the happenings near by. It has a cute patio overlooking the water we sat out and played cards in the evening until it got dark the temperatures were beautiful. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend this site for a weekend getaway!

We have stayed in several places along the north east to visit family members with our dog, and the barn is our favorite so far. We didn’t want to leave. The attention to detail was so impressive. Spacious design, yet still warm and cozy, with gorgeous views from every tall window. Modern amenities and elegance meets rustic charm. We visited on a colder weekend in February, and can only imagine how nice it would be to stay in the warmer months to experience being so close to the water and enjoy the beautiful surroundings outside. Great communications with owners as well.
