Tucked at the end of a quiet street, this bright and cozy 2BR is perfect for families, individuals seeking a creative retreat, or couples looking for a quiet weekend to recharge. Ski at Kirkwood, hike at Caples Lake, find antique gems or explore local wineries. Just 3 hours from SF and 1.5 from Sacramento, you’ll have the whole place to yourself, with a helpful landlord next door. Breathe fresh air and relax!
The space
Upstairs Bedroom: Luxurious King-size bed on an Avocado organic mattress for a restful night's sleep.
Downstairs Bedroom/Office: Versatile Queen-size cabinet bed that folds into a spacious office, perfect for remote work or focusing on creative projects.
Downstairs Dedicated Office: Private enclosed office with a standing desk and plenty of natural light.
Bathrooms: Full bathroom upstairs with shower and large tub, plus a convenient half bath downstairs.
Living Room: Bright and inviting with ample natural light, comfortable seating, and a cozy fireplace.
Kitchen: Fully equipped for all your culinary needs.
Deck: Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks on the back deck surrounded by serene tree views.

+ There are no stairs to enter the house from the carport, however there is one step from the mudroom into the house, approximately 7" high.
+ The interior staircase have a bannister halfway up the stairs (see photo in Bedroom). The mudroom step does not have a bannister.
+ The shower door opening is about 22" wide and the curb at the bottom (what you need to step over) is approximately 7" high.
Other things to note:
Located 1hr to Kirkwood/Caples Lake, and 1hr 45min to South Lake Tahoe, this area is the ideal jumping off point for exploring the beautiful hikes, lakes, mountain creeks, wine country and small towns of the Sierras.
We cannot accommodate pets, smoking, or parties.
