Nelly

We were met on arrival by our hostess - a cheerful, friendly, chatty lady who speaks some German and English. The apartment is the entire upper floor of her house, spacious and furnished with all the comforts of home. She had provided fruit and juice for our breakfast , sweets and biscuits for snacks, and she brought us a lovely pastry she'd just made. We felt really spoilt! Parking was off-road, just across the street in this quiet residential area. The town is a mere 7 - minute walk away, and the river bank is a pleasant place to relax and have a coffee.

Jako lijep smještaj blizu centra grada. Dočekala nas je ljubazna vlasnica sa košarom svježeg voća i keksima te ljubaznim riječima. To je apartman u obiteljskoj kući na prvom katu. Ulazi se kroz zajednički ulaz, ali je sve odvojeno. Apartman je jako uredan i udoban. U apartmanu ćete pronaći i osnovne potrepštine tipa kave, soli i slično, pa ave do gela za tuširanje i šampona. Jako smo zadovoljni. Svaka preporuka 🙂

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views, but the real gem of our stay was Nelly herself. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so incredibly welcome and at home. The apartment was immaculate, comfortable and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were also greeted with such thoughtful touches — a bottle of water, two bottles of local beer and a beautiful bowl of fresh fruit waiting for us on arrival. It’s those little details, along with Nelly’s genuine warmth and hospitality, that made our stay feel extra special. We absolutely loved our time in Vukovar and already know that we will be returning. When we do, there is nowhere else we would want to stay — Nelly’s will without a doubt be our go-to place. Thank you, Nelly, for making our stay so memorable. We couldn’t recommend this beautiful apartment and wonderful host highly enough! ❤️
