I came here by myself for a week to hike, swim, and relax. It was exceptional, one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. You feel fully immersed in nature, the trails are wonderful, and the snorkelling is really great. Silvia is warm and caring and provided great information about what to do on the island. The food was also excellent. I am already planning my return to Sitio das Tartarugas.

This place is paradise! Sylvia and her team were all fantastic and helpful, and we loved the gentle dog!
The hammocks were a highlight for our whole family- we spent a lot of time just relaxing in them.
It is an incredible location- we loved snorkeling, kayaking and the abundant wildlife all around, including the little monkeys.
The food was wonderful too, as was the local beach.
We can't recommend this place enough.
No! If you are ready for escapism, this is it!

Beautiful views! Great food! And great staff! Silvia was wonderful. She went above and beyond on communication and helping us book a boat tour even though the weather wasn’t on our side.
It is a very secluded property. We went for the peace and quiet but due to the rainy weather we felt isolated. The food on the property is very good and big portions but becomes expensive quickly! We wish the breakfast was included in the price as there really are no alternatives unless you skip or bring your own food. Also as an FYI there is now a tax to be on Ilha Grande. Hopefully this can get added into the communication when booking the water taxi that there is an additional park tax.
