Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars. Prachtig uitzicht.

Miriam fue muy amable y la comunicación por WhatsApp fue en general buena. La habitación estaba limpia, era como en las fotos y toda la propiedad es muy bonita. La vista es especialmente hermosa. También valoramos mucho que Miriam se preocupara por nuestras inquietudes y que posteriormente nos consiguiera una hamaca con vista.

Lamentablemente, nos dieron otra habitación sin avisarnos previamente, diferente a la que habíamos reservado. Además, antes de llegar no sabíamos que había que caminar unos 5 minutos cuesta arriba por un camino de piedras, sin barandilla y con poca iluminación. Con el equipaje fue un poco complicado.

The view was really nice and a kind offer of a free mango juice as we arrived.

The kitchen isn't really usable and the common area was run down (roof, furniture etc). There is no sink to wash dishes or your hands, therefore it's dirty. We have been asked to save water where we did not have any lengthy showers. We had to move every night, because on the first night there was water in the room due to a storm, after the second night we were told that there was no water and we had to find a different accommodation. Then at first we were told to pay 5% extra for paying cash in USD (when the price was advertised as USD) and when paying in soles a higher rate was asked for. (The official market rate was 1 USD : 3.35 soles, we should pay 3.6 soles for 1 USD). The inconvenience caused due to check-in out one night earlier wasn't resulting in a discount apart from dropping the 5% fee that i don't think is fair in the first place. I do understand that it's not in their hands that there was a storm, but it felt like they just wanted to make business. In my opinion rooms should be dry as rain is normal in Mancora at this time of the year.
