Shanghai Monegative Time Garden Hotel Disney Store

I liked the decorations.

I didn’t like how they’re so many bugs, the place is a little village.

The staff were very professional and friendly. Hotel offered a hardy buffet breakfast every morning. Hotel offers free airport and Disney shuttle. Safe area. We walked to the main street and stopped at a few businesses along the way. Private bathroom appreciated. Shower was great. Pool onsite. There is a massage chair, koi fish pond, turtle pond, luggage storage and beverages for purchase. Can’t stress enough how kind the staff are. Busy hotel with the majority of guests Chinese nationals.

I booked 2 hotel rooms and neither looked liked the photos. I was disappointed that my son’s room was on the first floor next to the stairs. Lots of noise and guest traffic. His one bed room was basic and small. His sheets had orange stains but the room was clean. Nice size bathroom with towels and toiletries. My room with 2 beds was basic. Neither looked liked the photos. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. No coffee or tea packets. Just a hot water pot and cups. Grateful for the private bathroom. My booking summary states I was charged for the rooms prior to arrival. The hotel stated that they did not charge me. My Booking.com credit card could not confirm a charge on my account was from the hotel. Spent 4 days going back and forth with hotel and Booking.com. Took so much time away from enjoying my birthday and my son’s 21 birthday. I paid the hotel bill in cash at checkout because the credit card company couldn’t confirm charges on my credit card were from the hotel. Booking.com stated on the 4th day that the hotel’s contact information was wrong in their system and they could no longer speak to the hotel representative. Now 8 days I have no confirmation on the credit card payment. I don’t blame the hotel. Bookings.com is a large international company they should have resolved everything in 2… 3 days. Very disappointed.

The front desk is really nice and very helpful throughout the one night stay. Very happy with the services.

Location was only about 2km from Shanghai Disneyland. But it is quite in a far secluded area so walking is not recommended

The shower was dirty. The shower head is not working properly. It felt like I was staying in a dorm more than a hotel. They do provide a shuttle to Disneyland but it was really packed in the morning and there a possibility you have to stand in a very small van filled with people
