Onsen, and my wife stayed here while husband and boys hiked Mt. Fuji - perfect stay, calm, and quiet & close to lake.
Breakfast should be included in price for onsen to make more like a ryokan, but overall great property. Had parking and easy access.

The staff were very friendly and forthcoming with recommendations for the local area and places to eat. The rooms were a great size and very traditionally Japanese which is what we were after. The western breakfast was good.
If you don’t have a car it is difficult to get to.

The location was lovely in the forest, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and always asking if we were ok. They organised a taxi for us a couple of times.
the breakfast although had a good choice, the hot food unfortunately was cold, considering the cost, that was not good value.We loved the location in the forest, near the lake, however it was a long steep walk, they could do with offering a shuttle service to the lake and back. Or more information on local bus timetables.
