The property was exceptionally clean and well stocked with essentials for the stay. The location was perfect: not too far from all locations we wanted to visit. The view was wonderful and communication from host was excellent.

Nestled in the shadow of historic gates, this is a classic old building that's easy accessible to train line, bars, gelaterias and cafes. You can't beat the location for the price - I checked out the 4 star hotel down the road with an elevator and it was significantly more expensive. The sound proofing was good so we didn't have any issues with the noisy bars downstairs. It had all we needed - soap, detergent, crockery etc. Hosts were responsive. It was very light and sunny.
Hosts were very clear that it's on 4th floor with no elevator but that should be a consideration if, like us, you are hauling 30kg of luggage. It is also small: again not unexpected in a heritage character building, but be aware there isn't a lot of room to move. The bed is a sofa bed - which whilst being very comfortable, wasn't what we expected. Being at the top of the building, it got really hot on the 30+ degree days, the air con only just managed to maintain an ambient 25 when we closed all the shutters and curtains.
