Dobo Madrid Palos

Localização boa, com restaurantes, padaria e supermercado próximos. Não está tão próximo aos pontos turísticos mas conseguimos deslocar à pé sem dificuldades. O quarto era agradável mesmo um pouco pequeno e o banheiro prático, com boa ducha e moderno. Cama confortável e com uma pequena cozinha com cafeteira. Custo muito alto.

Existe um barulho periódico que incomoda um pouco (parece ser passagem de metro subterrâneo). Pode incomodar pessoas que tenham sono leve.

The small space is very well utilized. The bed can be folded back up for instance to become a sofa with a table and there is even a somewhat functional kitchen and a bathroom. And it's all relatively new, clean and looks fairly nice. It's close to the city center and close to a metro station.

The place is really, really small and it's not a proper apartment – it's rather something like a ground-level office or bar that has been bought and retrofitted into two BnB apartments by splitting it down the middle and putting doors with keypads. This means that you are on ground level and can hear the foot traffic outside. The owners have been kind enough to frost the windows so that passers-by can't peek into your room, but that means you don't get to see much of the outside world either while you're there. Also, the walls inside the retrofitted office are paper-thin, so you can hear the other BnB and they can hear you. When the bed is down there is barely enough space between it and the wall which the TV is hung onto, making passing to the other part of the room quite difficult. Additionally, the bathroom is not separated with a proper door, but rather with something that I can best describe as a solid curtain. It never closes shut, so the person you're travelling with can hear and smell anything happening in there. Also, it's not tethered to the ground in any way, so while you're trying to slide it over it can start swinging forwards and backwards, hitting the wall when it swings back. Worse, when you're trying to slide it back open it's supposed to fit into a neat gap made for it, but if you've accidentally swung it forward while sliding it, it can hit the furniture instead of the gap. This door was probably the most annoying part of the entire apartment. I would only recommend this place if you're travelling with a partner, and a long-term one at that, or with a best friend. This is a very intimate apartment. If you're okay with that, then it's perfectly good for your stay. Especially if you're also not planning to spend much time in the room anyways.

Everything was perfect! The place looked exactly like on the photos, it was very comfortable and clean and just big enough for one person. The place has a great location, close to the Atocha train station and to the metro, making it very easy to get ti the city centre quickly. In the summer heat the AC and ceiling fan were much appreciated. I would definitely come back any time!

The room was incredibly tight.Barely had room to open our suitcases. The sheets stank badly and were full of hairs, as was the bathroom floor. Clearly the room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Had to spend at least 15 minutes trying to get in, as the acces code had changed. The walls separating it from the next apartement were paper thin, we could hear the neighbours talking and partying till 2 am. Not nearly good value for money
