Soseoljae Guesthouse Gyeongju

The location was fantastic, a short walk away from the historic sites and restaurants, and the room was very comfortable.

We wished that it wasn't a wet shower and that there would be a shower cubicle, but other than that, no complaints. The room was lovely.

Great location - walking distance to most sites and lots of restaurants, cafes etc. Lovely and traditional simple hanok stay with a futon on the floor. Friendly and helpful staff. Simple breakfast

Beautiful Hanok-style hotel with a great location within walking distance of many sights and the high street. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was fresh and delicious (vegetarian friendly). Rooms retain original features with modern upgrades when it comes to the bathroom or TV for example. Walls are a bit thin so you may hear some noise from other rooms but guests were generally quite considerate of others. The room I booked had a mattress on the floor and as a first timer experiencing this it took some time to get used to but was fine in the end. Also, I was planning on getting there quite late and when I messaged the property in advance they were responsive and helpful in accommodating.

It was an excellent experience. The owner welcomed us very kindly and the rooms were clean and quiet.
