Almost Everything!! ☺️ it was conveniently located to all of the locations we were traveling between location was everything when we got to the house as well I will say the pictures online don’t even compare to the beauty that place has inside and out! 💎

The ONLY thing I will say was a negative was a couple of the roads to get there.. I have gotten to know the Vt area up this way well and I am certain that some parts of the year you have to have a really good vehicle to get to this little beauty 😁 we got lucky!!

Location was great for Stowe, Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. House was spacious and set up perfectly for our family of five, especially the bedrooms which were spread out. There was a new L shaped couch, not pictured in the photos, but clean and comfortable. There were electric fireplaces in two of the bedrooms which were warm. Yard was big and would be perfect for younger kids to play in the snow. House was not too far from a Shaw's grocery store and gas station. Also, Red Hen Bakery was close by.

We didn't use the first floor half bathroom, just left the door closed because it smelt like there might be a septic issue. Cleaning service was still there when we arrived at 4:15 (apparently there was a late check out). The (ceramic or porcelin?) lining of the kitchen sink was broken but still usable. Wish we could have used the wood buring stove in the kitchen but it had a chain and lock around it.

We had a pretty stressful stay overall, mainly due to safety and support issues. We arrived at night and found the private access road to the property wasn’t cleared and was heavily iced (about 5 cm of solid ice). Even with winter tires, our car slid off the road. Since it’s a private road, we understood maintenance/de-icing to be the responsibility of the owner/management. For the next two days, the road remained unsafe, so we had to park at a neighbor’s and walk to the property. I also slipped on the ice and hurt my back, and we lost significant time dealing with getting the car back onto the road. We contacted support during the stay, but the experience was frustrating. The central team said they were trying to reach the local team, but we didn’t receive any direct help or check-in while we were there. The only message from the local team came after we had already checked out. To the owner/management’s credit, they later reached out and provided compensation, which we appreciate. That said, I’d strongly recommend addressing the road conditions proactively (de-icer/sand, clearing, warnings, etc.), because this felt like a preventable safety issue and had a major impact on our trip.
