Fontinha by An Island Apart

Excellent location, had all the necessary amenities, incredible view, loved the balcony, specially during the evening! Definitely coming back!

There isn’t anything bad to say about this place!

Big, clean, comfortable appartment, big terrace with a nice view, very well equipped kitchen. The contact with the owner/administrator was excellent. The acccomodation is very conveniently situated within 5 minutes from the beach and within 10 minutes from the city center, there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. A very good experience in Porto Santo, to be recommended!

A casa é espaçosa e está bem localizada. Tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. A equipa é muito prestável e simpática, o acompanhamento na chegada foi fundamental.

Existem algumas coisas na casa que exigem manutenção e precisam de ser arranjadas.

The location was good. Not central but close enough to bars, restaurants and the beach.

No welcome pack, even though our host knew we were arriving late in the evening. Within minutes of walking around the apartment in bare feet, we notice how dirty our feet were getting. Heaven knows when the floor was last mopped! The apartment offered the bare minimum of facilities. No oven or grill. No air-con or fans so we were pleased the weather wasn't too hot. No mosquito nets on the windows so we weren't sure whether to leave windows open at night for ventilation. 'By an Island' are in the business of making money. This becomes apparent when every email from them is full of links to purchase trips, safaris, firework displays etc. We didn't see our host. The only communications were by WhatsApp or email. There were roadworks 50 metres from our apartment for the whole of our stay, usually starting at about 7 - 7:30. Should our host have alerted us to this scheduled work so we could make a decision about whether to cancel?
